Context
PB27 Shipbuilding Plan (May 2026) introduces the BBG(X) battleship as a high-end combatant within the "Golden Fleet" high-low mix, with three ships funded across FY28–FY31. The FY27 NDAA as passed by the House (H.R. 8800, Sec. 131) would limit construction pending a certification; it is not yet law. All dates below are projections from the PB27 SCN justification book (P-27) and are shown green (projected) in the data download.
